Jenette, a proud graduate of Youngstown State University, was bit by the political bug at a young age. She got her start in Washington, DC in 2015 working for a member of the House of Representatives who sat on the Appropriations Committee, Subcommittee on Defense. Jenette, wanting to deepen her understanding of the law and legislation, attended the University of Akron School of Law. She diversified her Capitol Hill experience by working for leadership on the Senate Banking Committee, focusing on investigations and compliance. Jenette worked in financial policy in New York City but couldn't stay away from DC for long. She started at Vita in 2020 as the first hire of the Government Relations team. Since her dad, brother, and cousin are all active firefighters, Vita's company mission is important to her and she is a fierce advocate for this capability in Washington. Jenette likes to unwind by cooking and entertaining for friends, and takes pride in her spice collection. An avid sports fan, Jenette roots for all teams Cleveland and is an unapologetic Browns supporter. On nice days, you can find her at the driving range. She resides in Washington, DC with her rescue dog, Roman.
